The opportunity to join our team
Reporting to the Senior Manager Project & Change Delivery, you are responsible for project managing compliance with climate related Financial Disclosures. This role ensures compliance with AASB standards for disclosing climate-related financial reporting and provides visibility and transparency to our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the project to deliver the outcomes required to be compliant with climate-related financial reporting.
- Project planning, reporting and some business analysis. Being ‘hands-on’ when required.
- Co-ordinate deliverables across the business functions of (but not limited to), Finance, Asset Management, Risk etc
- Ensure the business and accountable persons meet the compliance dates set by AASB
- Work with SMEs to form a view of the legal applicability of legislation to Insignia at a Group, Entity, as well as Super and Investment Fund level.
- Leverage existing programs of work to find synergies and reduce costs.
- Form agreement on who is responsible and accountable for capability build and BAU ownership.
- Define resource gaps across skillsets, capacity, and time, then define how these will be filled.
- Identifies and ensures risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are appropriately captured and managed.
- Co-ordinates/ leads communications, progress reporting and workshops
What you will bring:
- Strong understanding Financial Reporting and Auditing
- Strong understanding of regulatory environment
- Experience in managing and delivering regulatory change.
- Experienced Project Manager in large, complex financial organisations
- Excellent communicator, adept in dealing with multiple, diverse stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
