In this role, you will be working for our Electrical Construction business which forms part of the CV group.
The team delivers electrical design and construct services for commercial, industrial, government and housing projects.
With over 180 team members, the business is one of Queensland’s largest and longest serving electrical construction providers. The team has a well-earned reputation in the industry for delivering quality outcomes for our clients.
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Commercial Construction team based in Hendra. In this role you will:
- Have overall management of a number of jobs including project schedules, build programmes, stage completions, handover and commissioning
- Deliver all jobs on time and on budget - in terms of cost and margin and achieving project outcomes in line with business and client’s expectations
- Have strong management, leadership and mentoring to the field teams
- Be responsible for the proactive management of QA, OH&S and environmental compliance and requirements
- Effectively manage time, resources, labour, suppliers and contractors as per the agreed project plan
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members
- Complete project planning and scheduling using Microsoft Project and Excel and provision of weekly and monthly reporting to the Construction Manager

- Electrical trade qualification
- Current QLD drivers’ licence
- Able to work autonomously and within a team to achieve outcomes on time and to budget
- Experience managing and exceeding challenging client expectations
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Have a firm commitment to safety and quality assurance
- Business or project management related studies desirable, but not essential
