An excellent high quality fit-out and refurbishment contractor in located in Brisbane has an immediate need to hire a Site Manager on a permanent basis to join their growing team. The company has a national presence employing over 150 staff and deliver quality fit-out and refurbishment projects in the value of $2M - $10M in Brisbane CBD and on the outskirts of the city. The business is built on strong safety processes and industry software such as procore, aconex and more. Joining the Brisbane office, you will work on core projects which focus on projects in the workspace environment and the retail space. Current projects include office fit-outs, lobby upgrades, end-of-trip facilities, retail fit-outs and shopping centre upgrades and more.  

As the number 1 Site Manager on the job, reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the construction project which will include; 

• Implementing HSE protocols and managing site safety. 
• Driving and management of all on-site trades and sub-contractors, in particular internal works and services 
• Reading construction plans and drawings 
• Working closely with PM to ensure the project runs to programme and key milestones are hit. 
• Liaising with various stakeholders including the building managers and clients as required. 
• Overseeing high-quality finishes, ensuring client satisfaction at handover stage 

Suitable candidates will possess the following; 

• Ideally coming from a Carpentry or Shopfitting background
• 5 Years+ Site Managemnt experience in the interiors space with reputable contractors 
• Must have managed commercial refurbishment projects to from $2M+ 
• Workspace and office fit-out project delivery therefore will possess a good understanding of services and internal trades
• Experience working in live environment projects within retail and workspace sectors is highly desirable. 
• Will have worked for established fit-out and refurb companies in Australia in a Supervisory positions. 
• Will be familiar with systems and processes that tie-in with leading contractors in this space. 
• Must be able to demonstrate longevity and loyalty to employers during your career.
