Your new role
In your new role as the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management and planning of various projects related to Contaminated Land assessment, remediation, validation and ensuring a timely delivery within budget.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Preparation and implementation of project Management Plans.
- Regular project reporting to the leadership team.
- Monitoring, tracking and controlling of project outcomes regarding critical path deliverables.
- Seek out opportunities to improve and innovate the service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, to ensure clear communication and satisfaction with project outcomes.
- Ensure all projects adhere to environmental regulations and standards, obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
- Identify and manage potential risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions to the project plan.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Science, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering environmental projects.
- Experience in Contaminated land assessments.
- Significant experience in environmental regulations, standards and practices, particularly NSW legislation.
- Experience in report writing, technical review, project management, and management of junior team members.
- Experience working with key business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills
- Government or infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
- Experience of Wastewater Treatment Plant Projects.
