Project Manager - Contract- Sydney

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide project execution.
• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of project activities.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders.
• Address stakeholder concerns, resolve conflicts, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Solicit feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve project processes and outcomes.
• Allocate resources effectively to support project activities and meet project objectives.
• Coordinate with resource managers to ensure availability of necessary personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to optimize project performance and efficiency.
• Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans to minimize project disruptions.
• Conduct regular quality assessments to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
• Implement quality assurance processes and best practices to enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate project closure activities, including documentation, handover, and stakeholder acceptance.
• Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate project performance, identify lessons learned, and capture best practices.
• Document project outcomes, achievements, and areas for improvement for future reference and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager, managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
