About Us:
FinXL IT Professional Services (by Randstad Digital) is a leading provider of innovative IT solutions, and we are seeking a Project Manager with some understanding of Control Systems engineering, instrumentation, and PLC technologies. This role is based in Adelaide with occasional travel to mine site, offering an exciting opportunity to work closely with an experienced Sr. Project Manager and gradually assume additional responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination/Project Management
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of Control Systems engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met within specified time lines and budgets.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Continue to up skill knowledge and understanding of Control Systems engineering, instrumentation, and PLC technologies.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to apply technical knowledge to project tasks and challenges.
- Engage with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, addressing any client concerns promptly.
- Travel: Periodically travel to mine sites for on-site coordination, inspections, and client meetings (anticipated frequency: once every few months).
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to enhance technical skills and broaden understanding of project management.
- Gradually take on additional responsibilities to grow within the role and contribute to project success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Preference for Bachelor's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination, with exposure to Control Systems engineering projects being advantageous.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel periodically for on-site project activities.
