What We Do:
The City of Salisbury is a pioneer in local government innovation. Our Strategic Development Projects division is at the forefront of transforming surplus Council land into innovative residential development projects. These projects not only enhance the Salisbury community but also boost our financial capacity to support essential community programs, all while fostering economic growth and job creation in Northern Adelaide.
Your Role:
As our Project Lead, you will be at the heart of creating visionary living spaces for the Salisbury community. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing a highly skilled small team
- Managing project delivery and the performance of residential land development projects, including the management of consultants and contractors.
- Ensuring on time / on budget delivery of all project stages including approvals and title procurement.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the Salisbury community.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Preparation of Council reports and project financial analysis.
- Managing project budgets.
What We're Looking For:
We seek candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Skills and experience in project managing residential land development projects from concept through to delivery.
- Appropriate qualifications or relevant experience in project management, civil engineering, property or construction preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain strong and effective relationships.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive management, initiative, and drive.
- High degree of professionalism and commercial sensitivity.
- Knowledge and understanding of local government procedures/practices including the political environment would be desirable.
