A leader within Australasia's Corrosion prevention sector, specializing in comprehensive corrosion mitigation and protection solutions, is looking to expand their team by hiring an additional Project Manager . Their expertise encompasses corrosion management, concrete and steel structure remediation through blasting and painting, lining and waterproofing, Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) Structural Strengthening, Cathodic Protection (CP), and Pipeline Electrical Hazard Assessments.
Operating across various industry sectors such as naval, defense, marine, transport, and infrastructure, they have a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
About the Role
Project Manager to focus on a portfolio of projects in the NSW region. In this capacity, you will lead effectively to ensure the successful execution of projects, emphasizing safety, quality, operations, finance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and exemplify our Zero Harm Values, fostering a safety-oriented and collaborative team environment.
- Oversee multiple small to medium multidisciplinary projects comprehensively.
- Monitor and manage all project execution aspects and timelines.
- Foster and manage client relationships.
- Control costs and monitor project budgets.
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers, including labor suppliers.
- Demonstrate adept problem-solving abilities to translate concepts into reality.
- Assist in meeting and managing client expectations, fostering strong relationships.
Skills and Experience
- 7-10 years' project management experience in Asset Remediation, Infrastructure, or Defense sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
- NACE 1 or 2 certification is highly desirable.
- Technical expertise in coatings, surface preparation, hazardous substance management, and application processes.
- Familiarity with Quality systems such as ITPs, QA/QC liaison.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.).
- Integrity-driven with a dedication to building enduring relationships.
