Our proven project teams readily address complex and multi-disciplinary activities, providing low-risk and cost-effective solutions to the defence force.Learn more about our business .The Opportunity:The Project Manager – Cyber is responsible for the technical and business aspects of KBR cyber related projects, including staffing, budgeting, planning, risk management and administrative tasks. KBR clients have an increasing requirement to engage with and within the cyber domain, often supporting concurrent solutions pertaining to the land, maritime, air and space domains. The Project Manager – Cyber will engage with existing clients, senior management, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that in-flight KBR projects are completed on time and on budget. The Project Manager – Cyber will be expected to have a working knowledge of any number of disparate fields, including cyber security, software tooling and Australian cyber policy.Additionally, the Project Manager – Cyber will be expected represent KBR interests in the development of new business opportunities across government, the private sector, academia, and other cyber-related sectors. This includes representing KBR at key forums and industry engagements across Australia. The Project Manager – Cyber will work closely with the leadership within the Mission IT and Security Solutions reporting directly to the Senior Program Manager of Space, Cyber and Information Solutions to ensure that customers’ requirements are understood by KBR and engage with prospective customers to support growth initiatives.The role requires a high degree of autonomy and a collaborative approach to working in a team to develop solutions that will ultimately promote growth and capability development in the Mission IT and Security Solutions line of business.ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:Manage and maintain existing client relationships, including the continued delivery of existing projectsConstruct project plans with agreed milestones, scope and budget with the client where new work is agreedRecognise and mitigate risks and issues within the project, including task dependenciesLiaising with strategy and delivery teams to determine solution execution and implementation approaches, risks and mitigationsAssessing the customer cyber landscape and developing solutions that improve, enhance and/or optimize current capabilityProvide updates to stakeholders on solution/product development processes, costs and budgetsContinually research current and emerging technologies and policy changes pertaining to the cyber domainAssess the business impact of technical and policy choices when making recommendationsQualifications, Skills and ExperienceEssential:Experience working with government and/or commercial cyber products, services and programsProven work experience as a Project/Program Manager or similar roleStrong organizational and leadership skillsHighly effective communication skillsNV1 Security clearance (with the ability to upgrade to NV2 if required)Desirable:In-depth understanding of Australia cyber policy (both from the private sector and government)In-depth understanding of the Australian cyber Industry landscape and impacts of international trendsBachelor’s degree (or higher) pertaining to cyber-related fields (information technology or computer science is preferred)Sound knowledge of cyber and network operationsBenefits of KBRA workplace culture certified as a Great Place To Work (Aus, India, UK & US)Flexible working conditionsCompetitive salary (including annual reviews)Paid Parental leavePaid Reservist leaveIncome protectionCorporate rewardsSalary packaging/Novated leasingDiscounted employee stock purchase plansFlu shots, skin checks and private health insurance discountsCareer development: Online learning, mentorship and career pathwaysIf you’re ready to shape tomorrow, let’s get started.
