Project Manager - Data & Analytics

This organisation is going through rapid change with large scale investment under way across the entire Technology & Digital function. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager who has worked at a senior level within large complex organisations to deliver information management /data analytics uplift project. This contract is for an initial 12 months with a 6-month extension as the project is due to be delivered in 18 months.

This is hybrid model with an office located near Brisbane CBD with discounted parking on offer. Fully remote not considered.

Their projects are all well-funded and resourced with high calibre contracting professionals making a huge impact on the quality of project delivery since joining. The organization runs a hybrid waterfall/agile model, but they don't let governance get in the way of successful and efficient delivery. You will work in a business aligned delivery portfolio and work closely with executive sponsors who are all aligned to achieve success on these projects.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior PM your role will be to further scope, plan and deliver a range of Data projects to enable a better digital experience for customers in this globally renowned organisation
• Build a team of experts which will include Solution Architects, Systems Analysts, BA's, Change Manager, and technical experts to support architecture definition, vendor selection and implementation.
• Work closely with Senior Execs in IT and in the business to ensure expectations are aligned, everyone is informed of project progress and ensure project teams and vendors deliver

Desired Background

• Extensive Project Management experience running large scale and complex projects from conception to completion
• Previous experience in information management, datawarehouse and Data & Analytics rpojects highly desirable
• Extensive project management methodology expertise but you can also navigate the fine balance between best practice and efficient execution
• You are an adaptable Project Manager who can work in dynamic environments and navigate complex solutions and varying levels of business maturity with ease
