We require an experienced Project Manager for an ASX-listed Global Insurance Provider to build a data reporting solution for a new group data lake and reporting solution. This is a new environment with new data pipelines and patterns to build. There are a large number of files to ingest from various internal and external systems, some with very poor data quality and there are multiple business rules and transformations to apply to the data to enable the necessary reporting. You would be responsible for identifying risks in design, approach and data quality. The build and outcome need to be auditable and governable. The Solution will be built on Azure.
Essential
10 years of project management experience
5 years implementing data warehouse solutions
Experiencing managing a technical team of technical business analysts, data engineers and testing engineers
Agile and Waterfall SDLCs
Implementation of data quality approaches and frameworks
JIRA and Sharepoint
Understanding of Data Management and Data Governance frameworks
Understanding of data modelling concepts (conceptual, logical, physical), data catalogues and business glossaries
Coordinating and working with multiple stakeholders to resolve extensive ambiguity and change
Desirable
Roll-out of agile methodology in teams
Power BI
Insurance experience
