Cleared are working with an Australian owned Consultancy, who support different various of Defence and Federal Government, nationwide.
This Consultancy are urgnetly looking for a Project Manager to support activities on a large Land based Defence project in Canberra.
The progam is responsible for the acquisition, Introduction into Service (IIS) and sustainment of a range of logistic support systems and both protected and unprotected vehicles, modules, trailers and watercraft.
The Service Provider shall provide Project Management services to the Commonwealth, with specific skills in communication with government. The successful candidate will work with Project Team Leads in providing expertise, support and guidance in relation to government facing and strategic documentation. They will ultimately be responsible to the Director and provide the Director with quality assurance support. It is essential that the successful candidate is proficient in their understanding of the Defence Capability Framework, and must have supported an IIP acquisition project in going to government in the last 12 months.
The successful candidate must have really strong communication skills, the ability to manage stakeholders effectively, and consistently meet timelines for deliverables. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to demonstrate that they efficient and organised, and able to anticipate and resolve problems as they arise. The Service Provider will be an all-rounder with the ability to support projects on request and may be tasked deliverables to support a project. This Service provider will be a program level asset, providing strategic support, and consistent messaging across documentation, and a quality assurance role to support the Director.
- Have supported an IIP acquisition project in going to government in the last 12 months.
- Possess current knowledge and understanding of the One Defence Capability Framework
- Have recent experience in writing ODCF gate submission documentation to achieve project milestones and committee schedules
- Have recent experience in, and understanding of, ODCF gate submission processes, timelines and requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to articulate the intent of Defence guidance materials in government submissions
- Strong demonstrated skills and experience in managing stakeholders within and external to Defence;

Term: 12 Month Contract, plus 12 month extension.
