The opportunity:

As the Project Manager - Electrical at Force Fire, you will be at the forefront of transforming the fire protection landscape. You'll interact with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, overseeing the seamless execution of multiple dynamic projects concurrently.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Take overall responsibility for the performance of all Electrical projects within your portfolio ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to meet revenue, profit targets, and KPIs.
  • Review tenders, submit bids, and ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority guidelines.
  • Interpret building plans, regulations and codes of practice to direct progress of works, making sure that specifications and regulations are followed, and proper methods and materials are used.
  • Conduct site visits to review project progress, resolve issues and update construction programs and forecasts as required in line with physical and financial targets.
  • Provide monthly reports on project costs, performance, and margin erosion.
  • Resolve contract value discrepancies, ensure compliance with PMO processes and accurate setup of new projects in project management systems.
  • Champion and ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and company safety policies, as well as leading safety initiatives and promoting adherence to the Safety Cardinal Rules within your field team.
  • Effectively manage team members under your supervision, including performance management, well-being support and the security of material and equipment.
  • Monitor industrial relations and safety activities and manage employees and subcontractors to maintain good working relationships with employees, trade unions, and industry associations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of Project Management experience (Project Management qualification preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong leadership abilities with conflict resolution skills.
  • Effective multitasking skills to manage various project elements simultaneously.
  • Capability to thrive in high-stress situations.
  • Strategic thinker with a big-picture perspective.
