Accountabilities of the role

Project Planning 

• Communicating with customers to understand their needs and construct a requirements specification. 
• Developing on time, on budget and within specification project plans
• Assessing resources required such as labour, consultants, materials and capital. 
• Developing resource planning estimates and identification of limitations. 
• Development of documentation for specifications, expenditure plan, assets and schedule. 
• Creating an execution plan that is agreed to by key stakeholders, including reportable milestones. 

Project Execution 

• Ensuring the project is run on time, within budget and meets agreed technical requirements. 
• Ensuring resources are deployed in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Reporting on project progress and costs incurred
• Timely communication with internal and external stakeholders of issues that may cause project objectives not to be met and finding solutions to mitigate any delays.
• Developing and maintaining engineering change order (ECO), life cycle, configuration management. 

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Extensive experience with project financials/cost management 
• Extensive experience with Microsoft tools such as project, excel, word, etc. 
• Proven experience in customer communications 
• At a minimum a sound general knowledge of electronics through interests or hobbies 

Desirable:  

• Qualification in electronics or exposure to Electronics Manufacturing 
• Experience working with quality management systems, ISO 9001 and AS9110
• ERP experience 
• Defence background 
• Experience with New Product Introduction
