Foundation recruitment has been exclusively retained to assist an Independent Aboriginal Corporation in their search for a Project Manager / Estimator

Our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality construction projects in Remote Communities. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role under the guidance of the Commercial Manager in ensuring the effective design and delivery of building projects.
As Project Manager your primary objective is to utilise cost management, flexible planning, and a deep understanding of applicable building codes to develop comprehensive and accurate project documentation. The focus is on ensuring efficient project delivery, covering upgrades, repairs, new builds, and remedial works. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you will collaborate to oversee construction projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards from creation to completion.
Essential:

• Hands-on experience in Residential and light commercial construction.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for contract administration and project management documentation.
• Understanding of remote communication challenges and empathy for remote locations.
• Sound knowledge of construction processes, workplace health safety, and environmental management.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, project management, and design/productivity tools.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, Australian Standards, Codes of Practice, and Guidelines in the Northern Territory.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to work in an open-plan office with a committed team.
