Due to unforeseen circumstances we are requiring to recruit another experienced Electrical Project Manager to start immediately to help with the continuation of an ongoing Defence Construction Projects in the Top End region.
Who we are -
We are a Darwin locally owned and operated family business that services large, medium and small electrical construction projects across private, government and defence sectors. We also attend to the domestic and commercial market with service and maintenance clients and contracts.
About the role -
You will be seeing through the delivery and management of Defence and NTG asset upgrade projects across the Northern Territory. You will be willing to work on a wide range of tasks involving on and off site remote works and occasionally irregular hours. Tasks include but are not limited to leading and delivering the day to day operational aspects of various projects including budgeting, job and staff reviews, client liaison, projections, HOTO, quality assurance and WH&S.
Skills & Experience -
- Solid Electrical Trade background
- Prefer 5+ years Electrical project management experience in construction and commercial sectors
- Experience managing medium to large scale defence projects an advantage
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical industry standards and safe work practices
- Be able to analyse and implement a project design from a customers prospective
- The ability to understand the customer needs into a technical solution
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Pro
- Highly motivated, professional with excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Confidence in your analytical and problem solving skills
- Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
- Full Driver's License
- CPR/LVR
