Project Manager | Facilities

The Company:
Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a major mining and resources asset owner based in Central Queensland. This client is a major employer to the region who are continuing through a period of exponential growth as they increase mine operations. With that, comes a significant program of works across the mine with various project streams including processing, facilities, rail and infrastructure. I am excited to be recruiting a Project Manager - Facilities to join the team. This will suit a trialled and tested individual and could be an opportunity for someone to move away from world of hard dollar contracting and transition to a client side role.
  
The Role:
As Project Manager - Facilities, you will directly report to the Head of Projects and oversee projects from design right through to completion. You will have full oversight and autonomy over projects with will include accommodation and camp construction, maintenance facilities, buildings, fuel storage and other associated infrastructure.
  
Given the broad scope of projects, you will be effective in managing project teams, ensuring quality, programming, cost and safety are paramount. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills with proven ability delivering mining infrastructure upgrades. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday role with site travel as required. Candidates must be based regionally with relocation assistance provided if required.
  
The Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering complex projects across mining, resources and rail.
• Excellent management and leadership skills, driving project teams to a combined goal.
• Effective stakeholder management both internal and external.
• Someone who is results driven, commercial strong and always driving business involvement.
• Someone who champions a safe working environment
