The Role
This position involves the end-to-end delivery of projects for clients, typically including managing permanent & contracted resources, financial management, performance reporting, risk, safety and quality assurance.
With strong Project Management skills, ideally with Prince 2 methodology, and experience in facilities and/or Asset Management, you will also be someone who can also liaise directly with Clients. Your background may be broad, but include an Engineering Degree and/or you may be a member of the Royal Institute of Surveyors (RICS).
Travel is possible, but not likely to be frequent, and would only be within Australia, typically along the Eastern Seaboard.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated Project Management experience within a building asset and/or facilities, engineering or building surveying environment
- Ideally you will have building and facility asset condition and compliance expertise
- Strong communication & presentation skills, with experience in being in a client-facing role
- Solution driven project and contract performance management
- Ability to manage and develop a small team of project consultants, asset assessors and administrators
- Industry knowledge and technical reporting capability and experience
- Able to identify and implement improvement initiatives (in conjunction with Senior Manager)
- Engage with clients for feedback and future opportunities
- Tertiary Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline is advantageous, but not mandatory
- Industry Certifications, including a white card / construction card and/or OH&S, RICS etc.
