With a focus on excellence and innovation, they are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join their team and contribute to their continued success.
About the Role: This is a permanent FIFO position, offering a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects while enjoying job security with 5 years of work ahead on current projects. You will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring compliance with specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all trades involved in general transportable building full refurbishment, including carpenters, electricians, plasterers, painters, plumbers, general labourers, and cleaners.
- Collaborate with the Contracts Administrator to manage all claims and variations, with final responsibility resting with the Project Manager.
- Oversee the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications.
- Participate in tender reviews and proposals, providing insights and expertise to secure new projects.
- Manage one project at a time, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budgetary constraints, and compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma or higher qualification in Project Management or a related field within construction/engineering.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Project Management roles.
- Showcase a track record of success in managing construction projects, with a particular emphasis on refurbishments.
- Exhibit proficiency in utilizing MS Projects or similar project management software.
- Previous involvement in non-process infrastructure projects would be advantageous, highlighting your versatility and adaptability within diverse project environments.
