Mobile Project Manager (FIFO) - WA

Hanson is seeking an enthusiastic, professional and reliable person to join our team as a Fly in Fly out (FIFO) Mobile Project Manager.  Operating on 3 weeks on 1 week off roster (or 2 weeks on 1 week off roster - project dependent) based out of Perth WA. This exciting role is responsible for the successful management of our remote projects and concrete plants. Exceptional customer service, strong commercial acumen and high-level administration skills are essential.
This position offers a competitive salary plus allowances, as well as ongoing development opportunities, such as training in all areas of tendering projects, contract management, assisting in negotiation of major projects and submission of high-level project documentation. There is also an opportunity to increase the job scope to National Mobile Project operations in the future. Relocation allowances available for successful candidates relocating to Perth, WA from inter-state.

Key Deliverables:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, the duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
  • Managing specific site projects in remote locations
  • Management of a concrete batch plant, agitator truck fleet, drivers and plant staff
  • Maintaining health and safety, quality, environment and maintenance of assets
  • Managing the project contract, including client relationships and customer service
  • Ensuring delivery of high-level project documentation

Background and Experience required:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience
  • Total dedication to safety and risk management
  • Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to problem solve
  • Computer literacy, and proficient in the use of all Microsoft applications
  • A valid C Class Driver's License
