Key responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of shopfitting/residential or and/or commercial projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and address any issues or delays promptly
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets effectively, track expenses, and negotiate with suppliers to optimise costs while maintaining quality
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project outcomes
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing progress reports, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel
Qualification
- Trade Qualification in Cabinet Making/Shopfitting or Joinery is essential
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Shopfitting Trade, minimum of 2 years experience
- Strong knowledge of shopfitting processes, materials, and techniques
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Full working rights in Australia
