Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers with planning, coordinating, and executing commercial joinery projects.
- Prepare and maintain project documents like contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Coordinate project schedules to meet deadlines.
- Monitor project budgets and help with cost tracking.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Facilitate project meetings and follow up on tasks.
- Help procure construction materials and equipment.
- Support the project team in resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate project files and records.
- Assist in preparing project reports and presentations.
Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience in commercial joinery is essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with contracts, permits, and regulations is a plus.
- Diploma or degree in construction management or related field is an asset.
