About the Position
- Manage construction planning, programming, and completion schedules
- Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress
- Work closely with Supervisors & administration to ensure the timely delivery of all program requirements
- Management of Employees, Subcontractors, plant & equipment
- Apply and maintain all Health and Safety Standards
- Following and Implementing all Company Policies and Procedures
- Managing and Taking over the communications/relationships with the client and ensuring all projects are delivered to their satisfaction
- Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and or budget
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks
- Leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor others
Qualifications & Capabilities Required:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering with minimum 4+ years' experience
- Strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements
- Must be willing to travel to various sites across QLD & VIC
- High attention to detail
- Committed to ongoing learning and high performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver on tight deadlines
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic, driven, focused & reliable
- Experience in civil engineering or construction is essential, as is a professional attitude and strong work ethic
