AddressMobile Concreting Solutions is an industry leader in the manufacture and supply of construction materials. Due to our continued growth, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic concrete projects division.
This role is for our Perdaman Project in Karratha and is a great opportunity for a self-driven, hands on leader to be involved in all aspects of project management, and to work with an enthusiastic and highly driven team. You will be required to deliver profitable projects on time, cost, quality and compliance dimensions. The role demands a strong focus on leadership to achieve required outcomes of the work group and the promotion of high-performance standards, including strong commitment to health, safety and the environment.

Core responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance of statutory, safety and environmental obligations by supporting MCS and our clients' OHS Management Systems
- To manage all aspects of works within the prescribed project unit within the limits of contractual obligations
- Act as a Company’s Representative to our clients on a broad range of matters
- Managing, monitoring and reporting on projects costs versus budget
- Responsible for implementation and improvement of project control systems
- Preparation of reports and projects scopes including key performance measures (safety, quality, cost, schedule, etc.)
- Assist with development of rosters for all phases of a project
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients that leads to future business opportunities
- Initiate and implement improvements in performance for future / operational projects
- Providing regular reporting to management on project progress and asset usage
- Ensure preventative maintenance programs are followed on the project site
To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a Project Management or Supervisory role in the concrete supply or construction industry
- Possesses a Degree in Engineering or Project Management
- Experience working on remote sites
- Highly developed decision making capability, competence in making timely and effective decisions, with an ability to identify opportunities for improvement and commitment to drive outcomes
- A track record of being highly organised and prioritised
- Demonstrated experience in providing leadership, coaching, mentoring and development of direct reports and high potential employees and subcontractors
- A strong personal commitment to the implementation of proper safety, environmental and other policies and procedures, with the ability to foster a strong safety culture among all employees
- A natural relationship builder who collaborates to build and sustain enduring relationships based on trust and integrity
- An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
- A good understanding of contracts and scopes of work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively
- Strong computer skills with a high competence in the Microsoft Office suite
- Construction industry training (white / blue card)
- Class C Manual Driving License
- A HR Drivers License will be viewed favourably
