- Their cutting edge, innovative hardware and software technologies and treatments, which are sold across the world to impact the success of high pregnancy success rates, need a Project Manager (initially for a 6-month contract).
WHAT YOU WILL LEAD & GROW
- This 6-month Project Manager contract position will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and supporting Product Development.
- This is a critical responsibility and major package of work, which requires the application of Project Management methods to Product Development/Product Management within the medical device domain. There is a finite amount of resource available for Product Development, which means ideas must be triaged, organised, and scheduled. Progress must be tracked & regularly reviewed to ensure development remains on track.
- You will be participating in the management & execution of Product Development activities – from front-end (generation & triage of new product ideas) through to back-end (planning, scheduling, contract management, verification & validation, reviews, reporting, etc.).
- You will be coordinating, overseeing, and supporting projects within the Product Development process. This covers new product, as well as changes to existing product. It also includes all stages of Product Development, from idea/concept through to successful launch to market. From high-level oversight (eg. Planning, tracking, reporting of high level budget, schedule, resources) to low-level support (eg. Preparation of proposals, detailed costings, customer needs documents, testing programs, sub-contract management, etc.).
- Part of this role will be the communication & presentation to stakeholders to advise, and gather feedback and the planning & coordination of launch-readiness (manufacturing, service, supply chain & logistics, regulatory & quality).
WHAT QUALS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE JOB
- Bachelor or higher degree in a relevant Technical, Scientific, or Commercial discipline.
- Excellent skills in Project Management of Product Development, preferably of Medical Devices.
- Strong Results orientation - taking ownership for delivering outcomes, exhibiting drive, tenacity, and resourcefulness in achieving goals & overcoming obstacles.
- Strong interpersonal & relationship-building skills and excellent organisational & time management skills.
- Excellent English communication skills – verbal & written, formal & informal presentation skills with strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Advantageous: Understanding of the Product Development process, particularly in Medical Devices.
- Advantageous: Understanding of Quality Management Systems, particularly ISO13485.
- 5+ years Project Management experience – including preparation of proposals, budgets, schedules, work breakdowns, regular reports, etc. Preferably across a wide range of Product Development activities, and preferably within the Medical Device domain.
