MLA is seeking a Project Manager for Northern Beef Adoption to join our Communications and Adoption Team. In this role you will work with an existing portfolio of adoption programs e.g. EDGEnetwork, BeefUp forums and FutureBeef and projects to deliver activities to assist producers to implement the latest research or existing best management practices, improving their productivity, profitability and sustainability. The role will also see you work closely with producers and stakeholders to develop future adoption initiatives and projects to meet industry needs. If you have experience in extension activities, engaging with Northern Beef producers, project management and have excellent communication skills, then this may be the job for you!
Location: North Sydney or Brisbane
Our ideal Project Manager - Northern Beef Adoption has:
- The ability to work closely with industry stakeholders to further develop and implement adoption strategies for Northern Beef producers.
- Experience working within a variety of teams, ideally including on-farm research teams, to construct programs of work ensuring a pathway and mechanism to adoption.
- Demonstrated success initiating and maintaining collaborations with industry stakeholders to add value to existing and new adoption programs.
- The ability to coordinate and manage private sector and agency partnerships, facilitating the effective delivery of programs to a high standard.
