We’re currently recruiting for 2x Project Managers to manage and coordinate Operational Integration activities for Rolling Stock and the related maintenance facility for our client who are a large Railway Organisation. You will work closely with the state, suppliers, and internal technical and operational teams to ensure a smooth transition of the project into operational service.
This is a six-month contract role with the opportunity for extension, offering a hybrid working arrangement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee Operational Integration activities, ensuring a smooth transition into the operational network
- Develop and implement operational readiness plans
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including government, suppliers, and management
- Identify, monitor, and escalate risks, ensuring effective mitigation actions are in place to support Operational Integration
- Ensure all projects are delivered to scope, schedule, budget, and other set requirements
Skills and Requirements
- Prior experience in Operational Integration/readiness, particularly within Train, Tram, Bus or similar Transport Network Operations
- Good understanding and experience with Rolling Stock (or bussing) and/or associated Facilities used for maintenance
- Good written and spoken English language skills including the ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels - Suppliers, Management, Government, etc.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facilities or similar would be beneficial but is not mandatory
