Our client is seeking a Project Manager for a Physical Security project for 12 months with possible extension in their Fremantle office.
Title: Project Manager (Physical Security)
Rate: $75 per hour plus Superannuation
Location: Fremantle with regular visits to Kwinana
Hours: Average of 4 days a week with possibility of full-time hours
Contract duration: 12 Months with possibility of extension
Type: Temporary casual contract (no leave entitlements – casual loading included in rate)
Commencement: ASAP - Notice periods will also be considered
Responsibilities
The client is seeking to engage with an experienced Project Manager to manage the following security projects.
Physical Security Project:
This project is the opportunity to work on improving Physical Security controls within the office.
MSIC Issuing Body Reform Project:
The Department of Home Affairs is implementing a single government IB (AusCheck) for the MSIC scheme. As of 1st July 2025, AusCheck will be the only IB for MSICs. The purpose of this project is to transition the client’s IB responsibilities to AusCheck by 31st March 2025.
Additional projects:
Project activities as they are prioritised and approved against the security program of work. These can include physical and systems improvements.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
Supervising and leading projects – 3-5 years.
Qualified project professional in either Prince2 or PMBOK, or the equivalent of.
Diversified project management experience with the ability to lead project with assets and systems, process improvement and deliverables.
Managing project teams and delegating tasks. Ensuring project milestones met.
Conducting team and planning meetings.
Confident in liaising with executives and senior leaders.
Experienced in planning and executing change management and operational readiness activities.
Experienced in working within established PMOs and EPMOs.
Excellence in producing and managing project documentation.
Can do attitude with a solution focused mindset.
Desirable
Experience working and delivering similar projects.

Able to obtain clean National Police Clearance
