As the Project Manager you will deliver BAU property projects that support the ongoing operations of the HCF division along with providing support on the HCF House Redesign project.
Reporting into the National Program Manager, your role will ensure the Property objectives are delivered and business unit property related requirements are supported. In this role you will be required to have experience in property program or project delivery and will be required to work with a broad range of stakeholders across the business.
What You'll Contribute:
- Manage projects from initiation to completion and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop project plans in conjunction with subject matter experts from within and external to the organisation
- Oversee the delivery of property projects including fit-out, minor works and makegood works for Dental, Eyecare, branch and workplace.
- Define resources and schedules for project implementation within agreed budget and timeframes
- Manage resources in conjunction with business managers and external contractors
- Communicate with all business units and key stakeholders to ensure all teams are updated and on track to meet key deliverables
- Record and distribute minutes for assigned projects where required
- Create strategies for project risk mitigation and contingency planning with the support and input from HCF Risk & Compliance
- Conduct project implementation reviews
- Prepare approvals, Memos and recommendation for the Head of Property or Business unit stakeholders
About You
You will be an experienced Project Manager who has managed the delivery of key property programs for large organisations and commercial building.
- Proven experience in a similar role in end-to-end implementation
- Successful track record of delivering an effective space planning function
- Competent in dealing with external suppliers, i.e. Project Managers, Architects and builders
- Extensive experience in project management involving financial reporting and bringing projects in on plan and budget
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and influence a positive work environment
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple deadlines
- Self-motivated and performance-driven
- Demonstrated administrative leadership skills
- Demonstrated commitment to service performance and accountability
- Demonstrated understanding of work health and safety requirements
- High quality written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and problem solving capabilities
