Our client, a large complex organisation within the Utilities sector, are currently seeking Project Manager for a Roster, Time and Attendance Project.
The Project:
The Roster, Time and Attendance project is implementing a solution that will provide the organisation with a contemporary roster, time and attendance solution.
A PM is required to take responsibility for managing end to end delivery of the project and the solution that will support fulfillment of regulatory obligations, risk reduction, improved rostering practices and process efficiencies.
The PM will be responsible for stakeholder engagement across D&I, vendor, and business areas (including being part of the broader Payments Review Program), project reporting, issue and risk management, scheduling, financial management, resource management, and benefits management.
Lead a project team by defining the project vision, coordinates team actions on project activities, and works to build the capability of the team through training, coaching, and mentoring.
The project is currently in Initiation and working through detailed planning with the vendor therefore a great time to join the team to deliver the outcomes to the business later this year.

Skills and experience required:
- Substantial general work experience with comprehensive project management experience to fully competent level. (Over 6 years to 10 years).
- Responsibility for the successful project management of multiple complex ICT projects (preferably within the utilities sector).
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of project management methodologies (preferably PRINCE2) and an ability to provide sound advice and recommendations on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated experience persuading others and selling the benefits of projects by effectively overcoming objections and influencing at the appropriate level.
- Demonstrated experience assessing project needs in a systematic, goal-oriented manner.
- Demonstrates tenacity in tracking and monitoring project outcomes, remaining adaptable to changes.
Management Experience:
- Experience of planning, managing, and organizing project resources within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework. (Over 6 years to 10 years).
- Demonstrates well developed management skills and knowledge, including the areas of service planning, objective setting, and monitoring, managing resources, project management and staff professional development.
