Form of work Job description Location: Newcastle, NSW Duration: 6 Months (Part-Time, 3 days a week) About Us: TfNSW is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Project Manager or Senior Engineer to join our team based in Newcastle, NSW. As a key player in the region, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and functionality of our infrastructure, particularly focusing on Bridge Maintenance projects. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive project briefs for upcoming Bridge Maintenance projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and specifications. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of maintenance projects. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders. Key Projects: Bridge bearing replacements Mechanical and electrical upgrades Guard rail installations and upgrades Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in project management or senior engineering roles. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with Bridge Maintenance projects is highly desirable. Location and Schedule: Office-based in Newcastle, NSW. Part-time position, 3 days a week. 6-month contract.
