AddressOne of Australia's largest electrical & communications contractors is looking to engage the services of a Project Manager - Substations.
As our new HV Project Manager - Substations based in Melbourne, you'll play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that supports our clients with their day-to-day requirements with the High Voltage system. Working within a multi-disciplinary team of professionals based in Melbourne on a wide variety of projects in our Energy & Industrial Department, getting exposure to varied and challenging projects locally in Melbourne and across Victoria.
Your Role Will Include the Following:
- Execute project-specific plans.
- Take full ownership of projects.
- Control project programming, cost, time, quality, purchasing, contract administration, general site administration, and subcontractor activities.
- Manage overall safety, quality, and environmental standards on projects.
- Authorise construction planning, programming, network outage coordination and on-site completion schedules.
- Monitor project progress and tackle issues head-on.
- Keep a close eye on project costs and forecasts, ensuring they stay within budget.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Significant experience in Project Management in a similar role within the High Voltage Industry.
- General knowledge of maintenance, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Outcome and customer focused.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in offering solutions to technical challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including effective influencing, motivation, and delegation skills.
- Ability to work well with others to deliver as a team.

Required Qualifications
- Trade or Degree of Electrical Engineering (Power Systems)
- Project Management studies also desirable
- Construction Induction Cert.
- Driver's Licence
- Recipient in charge
- HV Operating ticket would be an advantage.
