We are local at heart, yet world-class in capability.Here at Datacom we connect people and technology in order to solve challenges, create opportunities and discover new possibilities for the communities we live in.Our TeamYou will be joining our growing Project Services team, delivering projects to an our customers.About the RoleThe Project Manager role is responsible for planning, organising and technically leading, and controlling allocated projects from initiation to completion, and be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organisation, delivery, and timeline.As Project Manager, you are accountable for, but not limited to:
- Define & confirm project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements (planning, tracking and varying)
- Ensure adherence to project plans through the coordination and oversight of project activities
- Work with Resource Management to allocate resources effectively and efficiently
- Apply quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standard
- Provide guidance and support to project team members and foster a collaborative team environment
- Develop & maintain budgets for all projects
- Assess the impact of changes to project cost, schedule, and scope
- Work with the team in a range of broad Business Analysis activities across a diverse range of business to assist stakeholder management and capturing of business needs
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders
- Strong client focus
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills including exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at one time, achieve required outcomes and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to successfully deliver projects, coming in on time, to scope, quality and within budget.
- Be able to assist the Sales and Presales team with sales responses (RFQ, RFP, RTF, RFI etc.) and project variations.
