This role will see you leading a team of Systems Accountant that are working on the consolidation and integration of all Council's finance systems to deliver financial business outcomes and reporting more effectively and efficiently. The systems must not only deliver efficiently but need to comply with Australian Accounting Standards and mandatory legislative requirements for Council.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand system integration and service delivery
  • Lead and deliver the consolidation of all Council’s Financial systems
  • Proactively deliver Council’s Business Intelligence (BI) infrastructure, reporting, support, and education to enhance financial management capability

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $96.6k to $115.5k per annum dependent on skills and experience + 11% superannuation. 

A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role, with flexible/hybrid working arrangements available.
