About the role
Role Location: Sydney or Melbourne
Role Type: 6 month Secondment
The Project Manager will support the Strategy Investment Lead in execution of the Wealth Strategy Program which aims at shaping the future of ANZ Private Bank. The role will be responsible to ensure adherence of the project activities to ANZ methodologies, policies, and practices, such as the ANZ Delivery Framework guidelines and controls and the Commercial Transformation Management Office governance and processes. The Project Manager will implement project management methodologies and techniques to successfully deliver program objectives within the allocated budget and agreed timelines, and to build, coordinate and supervise resources assigned to the project team.
What will your day look like
This role is accountable for:
- Establish a robust project management framework to successfully deliver Program objectives within the allocated budget and agreed timelines.
- Ensure adherence of project activities and deliverables to ANZ methodologies, policies, and practices.
- Implement controls and develop artefacts required by the ANZ Delivery Framework.
- Timely produce program status reports and detailed project budget analysis.
- Support the coordination of program Steering Committees, including the preparation of meeting packs and minutes taking.
- Identify Program resource needs, coordinate the hiring and training of project team resources.
- Manage Program risks, issues and dependencies, develop and supervise risk and issue treatment actions.
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to assess and manage delivery and operational risks.
What will you bring?
- 10+ years’ experience in managing large transformation projects and programs.
- Solid proficiency in program and project management methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring and tracking the progress of projects; providing regular status reports; overseeing project financials; tracking benefits; effective risk and issue management; tracking and managing dependencies; planning and scheduling of project activities.
- Supervision and coordination of project resources.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, managers, and key stakeholders.
- Working experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience in wealth management and private banking processes and systems
