Grampians Health is on an exciting journey to implement an integrated Electronic Medical Records system (EMR) across its hospitals in western Victoria, and this is your chance to be part of the newly established project team as Manager, EMR Project Office. The purpose of this role is to provide high level administrative and project support to the Project Director including maintaining project registers and artefacts, managing project budgeting and reporting, supporting key stakeholder relationships and assisting with project research and analysis.The Manager, EMR Project Office will play a vital role in ensuring the project has the right administrative processes and project supports in place. The successful candidate will be collaborative, adaptive and confident working on large organisational transformation projects.Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Project Office, including maintenance of project artefacts and governance. Draft and prepare project reports, presentations and submissions. Develop and manage project processes that enhance the productivity, quality and effectiveness of the project team.
- Prepare monthly Financial Reporting to capture project expenditure and project progress. Manage cost allocations and monitoring of budget allocations.
- Assist in the development of Procurement documentation and contract administration.
- Assist the project team to achieve targets and timeframes as measured against the project plan. Manage project status reports including progress, tracking to schedule, risks and issues.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within Grampians Health and the project team to facilitate information flow and the achievement of objectives.
- Tertiary degree in an information systems related discipline or equivalent.
- Demonstrated understanding of project management foundations and governance.
- Experience in managing tender documentation and financial budgets highly desirable.
- Experience in Clinical projects including electronic medical record and patient administration systems highly desirable.
