The Opportunity On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for multiple EL1 Project Managers to join the Service Design and Improvement Team. The roles can be based in Richmond or Geelong and will work Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week paying a daily rate of $602.55 plus super.
Working as part of the team responsible for delivering projects and programs as priorisitised by the agency. The EL1 Project Managers will undertake detailed or sensitive projects and will perform varied activities to ensure outcomes. Responsibilities include; Developing, managing and implementing project plans and schedulesContributing to project design, governance arrangements and operational integration.
Ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget. Researching, reviewing and evaluating projects in specific operational or technical areas. Reporting on project outputs to stakeholders and overseeing regular project reportingPreparing and reviewing written material including business cases, plans, reports and executive briefs and corporate documentation.
Undertaking budget management, monitoring expenditure and overseeing procurement and contract management activities. To be considered you will demonstrate; Ability to understand complex issues and interpret data to assist in determining root-cause issues. Deep understanding of Project Management and ability to use differing project tools.
Ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflicting or challenging situations. Expert knowledge of Jira and ConfluenceUnderstanding of SAP or Salesforce CRM platforms would be advantageous To Apply
