The reason for this role:
- Complete Goldwind Australia’s projects within prescribed targets for cost, time and quality.
- Enhance Goldwind Australia’s reputation as a wind turbine supplier and wind farm developer and constructor.
- Visibly lead and ensure compliance with the quality, environment, health and safety Requirements.
- Supervise and manage assigned staff, including those working on other projects; and assist the Senior Project Manager in the management of the department and the establishment of Project systems.
What you will be doing?
- Apply sound project management practices to the delivery Goldwind’s projects.
- Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle: Cost, time, quality, risk, communications, stakeholders, procurement and integration.
- Managing compliance (policies/procedures, applicable legislation, authorised agencies direction)
- Project reporting.
- Visible EH&S leadership.
- Contract management – you will have a strong commercial acumen complimented by solid negotiation skills.
- Planning and preliminary design, including tendering and programming.
- Obtaining necessary permits (e.g., construction permits, building permits).
- Construction and commissioning of wind farms or other renewable energy projects.
- Commissioning, testing and handover to client and Goldwind Service dept.
- Post construction compliance and project review.
What does your background look like?
- Ideally you will have a strong background of project delivery in the Wind, Power or Construction industry.
- You will strong negotiation skills with the ability to relate to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent experience with leading and managing a team.
- Qualifications in Engineering and Project Management desired.
- Expertise in contracts, schedules, documentation management, financial admin and stakeholder management.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly.
