The Role:
As the Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the project delivery using planning, monitoring, and controlling processes. You will be responsible for coordination and follow through to completion of all aspects of the project and to this end, will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing the progress of the project. The customer base will be internal and external consisting of mechanical, digital controls and building services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direction to contractors, vision, including motivating people to perform, listening to people, providing feedback, recognizing strengths, and providing challenges.
Lead or collaborate with wider business on opportunities for minor (S&I) and major projects (retrofits, controls, and innovative projects) from both existing client base and new market leads.
Responsible for planning the works in order to accomplish goals or produce the products required within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards
Articulate and negotiate consensus on a final vision of the product project goals from scoping the requirements of all stakeholders, not forgetting the end-user
Prepare, perform, maintain and review many types of duties as a Project Manager including documents, EH&S control of site, specifications, contracts, schedules, personnel records, project reports, communication (email) records, design specifications, system drawings, sequence of works, commissioning, mark ups, meeting agendas, minutes and status reports
Experience and Skills:
Previous experience within a similar role
Electrical knowledge and background preferred
Knowledge in terms of work scheduling, prioritising, coaching and process execution
Ability to develop, implement and manage budgets.
Chair team meetings and facilitate review deliverables.
Develop sales and margin improvement strategies.
Strong customer relationship skills.
Understand urgency with customers.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
