Form of workRecruiting for a Project Manager to join a team delivering a major technology program that will transform the delivery of health care services for Territorians.
The Project Manager will report directly to the Program Management Lead, and will support organisational efforts to deliver feasibility studies, business cases and ensuing projects are delivered to a high professional standard aligned with contemporary practices.
This is a contract role located in DARWIN for a minimum of 12 months.
About the Role- Ensure that initiatives are effectively assessed through engagement of appropriate stakeholders to complete feasibility and implementation planning studies that support strategically aligned solutions.
- Prepare and maintain thorough project plans.
- Manage risks and issues.
- Produce accurate, succinct and high quality reports on project progress through project lifecycles.
- Ensure that projects are delivered within time, quality and resource constraints.
- Deliver Feasibility Studies, Business Cases, Project Plans and Projects.
- Regular reports on status of tasks and projects.
- Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager or Senior Business Analyst with responsibility for delivering substantial bodies-of-work in the public sector (Health).
- Demonstrable high level of ability and qualification in project management.
- Appreciation for PRINCE2 or Project Management Professional (PMP) methodologies and Agile work practices.
- Expertise in change management and project planning, including ability to analyse and report on complex issues, evaluate associated risks, benefits and strategies.
- Flexibility in planning and managing available resources against changing and competing demands.
National Police Clearance: Required
Working with Children (OCHRE): Required
To be considered, you must have full working rights in Australia, be living in Darwin, or moving to Darwin.
