DMD Automotives is a family owned and operated business located in Derrimut. We are seeking a Light VehicleQualified or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice Mechanic to join our team in our fast paced, busy workshop located in Derrimut with an immediate start for the successful person. We work on servicing and repairing all types of makes and models of vehicles.
Hours: Full time hours with the benefit of overtime available. Monday to Friday work 8am till 5pm.
The right candidate is expected to be highly motivated and knowledgeable in the trade with excellent communication skills, prepared to work in a dynamic, fast paced, busy and energetic environment, and be able to provide expert advice and repairs related to the mechanical condition of vehicles.

The role requires someone with the following skills and qualifications:
- Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Cert III in Light Vehicle Automotive Technology
- Manual drivers licence is essential
- Good work ethics with attention to detail for the job at hand
- Hard working and not afraid for a challenge
- Must have adequate tools for the trade
- Willing to work in a fast paced, busy environment
- Taking pride and quality workmanship
- Keen to get ahead and gain qualification ahead of time
- Enthusiastic, passionate about the trade, honest and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to further their career at our Company
- Punctual and Reliable - able to keep start and finish times without questions
- Able to abide by OH&S guidelines at all times in the workplace
