Project Mechanical Engineer | Fifo | 2:1 Or 8:6 Roster

YEM Technology is currently seeking experienced Project Mechanical Engineer's for our new project at Sino Iron Mine Site, working FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 or 8:6 roster. 

Sino Iron is a world class, large-scale magnetite iron ore project, located at Cape Preston, 100km south west of Karratha in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Sino's fully integrated operation features an open pit mine serviced by the biggest haul trucks in the world, a six-line concentrator and port terminal facilities at nearby Cape Preston. Sino's state-of-the-art power station and desalination plant are also among the largest in the State. 

Candidates with the below experience/criteria are encouraged to apply -

• Australian Recognised Mechanical Engineering degree
• 5+ years’ experience as Mechanical Engineer, including minimum 2 years’ Project execution/delivery experience working in a construction or maintenance in mining industry
• Previous experience in developing estimates schedules and tendering
• Management of design and fabrication 
• Experience in AutoDesk Project Design Suite, AutoCAD and Navisworks. 
• Experience in ITR, MDR documentation.
• Prior experience working within operational teams on-site essential 
• C class drivers licence is essential 
• Strong Communication skills, both written and oral
• Bilingual in English/Chinese/Mandarin highly desirable

Additional requirements for working at our sites include:

• Able to be clean shaven and wear P2 respirators on site
• FIFO from Perth (interstate flights not provided)
• Candidates must have Australian Working Rights to be considered for this role
