MACA Interquip is currently seeking an experienced Project Mechanical Engineer for a full-time site-based position working a 8:6 roster (FIFO from Perth).

Responsibilities of the Role
- Assisting Project Manager.
- Overall project planning and scheduling.
- Assist in managing project budget.
- Ensuring the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.
- Provide daily progress reports to Project Manager.
- Assist in formalising weekly / monthly reporting.
- Monitoring work for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Covering all areas of project management including Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, and Safety Management.
- Problem solving with site personnel and Engineering Department or Subcontractor.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Postgraduate degree in construction management (desirable).
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in similar role.
- Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge and theory across:
- OHS legislation and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of contractual and quality requirements and safety standards.
- Thorough knowledge of standard and industry normal SMP construction processes and methodologies.
- Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.
- Effective organisation and planning skills.
- Intermediate skills using the Microsoft Office suite.
