Project Officer - Capability

Applications are invited for the temporary vacancy of an AO4 Project Officer in the Capability Branch, Schools and Student Support Division.

This position is offered on a full-time basis, for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise determined.

About the role
As the Project Officer (Capability) you will work as a valued member of our team and play a key role in supporting staff in the Education Futures Institute with operational, administrative and corporate services support.

As the Project Support Officer, your role will include:

• general administration, organisation and corporate functions to support the delivery of capability programs and initiatives.
• corporate support, including financial, HR and procurement, and asset management.
• administering internal and outgoing correspondence and information management.
• supporting administrative duties for the branch, including organising catering and room bookings for meetings, travel requests, supporting the on/offboarding of staff, and other duties as required.

This role will report to the Manager, Governance and Implementation, Capability.

The ideal applicant will:

• have outstanding communication and customer service skills and the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders.
• bring high level skills in problem solving, prioritisation and managing competing demands in a timely manner.
• demonstrate excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Content Manager and Microsoft suite. Experience with SAP and TSS would be beneficial.
• maintain flexibility and availability to meet the needs of the Branch.
• enjoy working with a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact in education.
