About the roleFlourishing Together.We are looking for a
Senior Project Officer and
Project Officer to join our team.You will be responsible for working with our community to implement programs related to improved landscape outcomes including landscape function, biodiversity protection, and regenerative agriculture. The positions will work collaboratively with other team members, contractors, First Nations, stakeholders, and clients to achieve project deliverables under the guidance of the Projects Lead in Charleville.
About youTo be successful in these roles you will need to:
- As a Senior Project Officer, you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with experience in a similar role, or a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience sufficient to perform the role. An ability to support team leadership, and contribute to project development, planning and budgeting processes will be well regarded.
- As a Project Officer, you will have a combination of knowledge, skills, and experience sufficient to perform the role. Qualifications in land management or similar fields are desirable.
- Ability to work with landholders and various stakeholders to achieve company and customer objectives.
- Experience in supporting the implementation of monitoring and evaluation programs, including data collection and reporting to demonstrate outcomes delivered.
- Apply your experience as the Senior Project Officer to support team leadership and contribute to program development, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Ability to travel and work in remote locations for multi-day periods.
- Written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with influence, to a diverse client base including landholders, industry groups, Government and contractors.
- Aptitude in operating a computer and using the Microsoft 365 suite and project management systems to deliver and report on work outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy and timeliness.
- An ability to proactively manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members across the organisation to achieve positive business outcomes.
- Proven track record of displaying a growth mindset in previous roles, with examples of facing challenges, embracing learning opportunities, and continuous improvement.
