Project Officer, Capital Planning and Investment

Location - Parramatta, Hybrid

Employment type - Ongoing, Full-time

Salary - $106,025 - $117, 363 + superannuation

Your role

The Project Officer in Capital Planning and Investment (CP&I) offers crucial administrative assistance and executive support to enhance business operations through a variety of project management activities. This position entails overseeing project management and support services, handling multiple priorities effectively, and ensuring consistently exceptional levels of support to the Director.

What you'll do

  • Evaluate and prioritise requests to optimise the Director's schedule, ensuring timely processing of allocations and matters requiring approval.
  • Organise and oversee the calendar, meetings, and correspondence.
  • Create correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations, and briefing notes to meet business requirements.
  • Research and compile background information to aid decision-making and planning, while maintaining and updating administrative practices for improved efficiency.
  • Offer various project management and administrative services, including report preparation, resource coordination, and project documentation maintenance, ensuring alignment with agency methodologies and policies.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation for reporting and evaluation, ensuring accessibility of quality information.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, coordinate working groups and consultations, facilitating information exchange and supporting project completion according to plans.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in similar role having delivered a range of project management and support to senior stakeholders.

Appointments are subject to reference checks. Some roles may also require the following checks/ clearances:

  • National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
