Project Officer and Project Management Coordinator - NSW Government Department 
Location: Milsons Point / WFH
Contract: till 30/05/2025
Pay Rate: range from $600 - $900 p/d +Super
Hours of work: 8 max hrs a day, 40 hrs per week

Multiple roles available, rates will be dependent on candidate's experience. 

Primary purpose of the role
The role performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives below. 

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans
• Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups
• Delivering a range of project management and support services, given tight deadlines, limited resources and the need to manage competing priorities.
• Working in a complex business environment and managing potentially conflicting requirements of multiple stakeholders.
• Prepare complex correspondence, briefing notes and reports in relation to specific projects, initiatives and issues ensuring that submissions are accurate, timely and have appropriate signoffs.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in program managing and providing program support services.
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications
• Demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.
• Government experience is beneficial. 
• Ability to work across a complex business environment. 
• Experience managing conflicting requirements of multiple stakeholders
• Strong time management skills.
