The Housing Contact Centre (HCC) is a 24/7 operation of approx. 450 staff. The centre delivers NSW clients access to social housing services, including Link2home crisis accommodation, Social Housing Applications and Rentstart Bond Loan.

The role offers a generous salary package and internal career progression, as well as flexible work agreements, including some ability working from home.

The Role

As a Project Officer for the Housing Contact Centre, you will be assisting and supporting the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting on a range of projects in order to deliver quality service to DCJ Housing clients.

You will be expected to:

• Clarify information and answer complex escalations on policy and processes from internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare correspondence, communication and resource material.
• Conduct research or seek guidance in order to better inform DCJ Housing policy and processes.
• Work with the Service Managers to identify and implement service improvements.
• Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. This includes representing DCJ Housing through presentations and discussions at various forums.

What we’re looking for

• Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to the audience
• Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders
• Time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload
• Experience in data analysis and review
• A passion for customer service with a drive to promote service improvements
• Ability to work as part of a team
