National Centre for Healthy Ageing (NCHA)
Monash University and Peninsula Health have established the National Centre for Healthy Ageing (NCHA) as a partnership, with initial funding of $32m from the Australian Government Department of Health to create a centralised hub for innovation and transformation of care practices to support the healthy ageing of all Australians. The NCHA will create better integrated care models to promote health and wellbeing across the lifespan and drive improvements in the way people seek out and access care, to ensure they reflect and align with their values and needs. The NCHA will be Australia’s leading health service research, development and implementation hub focused on healthy ageing. The NCHA core delivery workstreams span the Healthy Ageing Data Platform, Living Labs Program and Transformation and Simulation Facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
Working closely with the Centre Director and NCHA core team, the NCHA Project Officer will be responsible for providing a range of high-level project coordination and project support services for delivery of the NCHA program of activities. The position will work closely and liaise with a broad range of project stakeholders across both Monash University and Peninsula Health, including senior clinical, research, technical stakeholders, finance, as well as government and industry, to ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables. The position will support the NCHA Director on all aspects of project coordination, including key workstream activities, governance and project control group meetings, government reporting and budget management.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
A degree in a relevant field with subsequent relevant experience; or
Extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical/management or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Excellent project coordination and management skills with a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement effective operational processes and systems.
Experience with and understanding of working with budgets and finance teams to support budget tracking.

Please refer to salary circular Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Enterprise Agreement 2021- 2025 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
