An exciting opportunity exists for Project Planners to join our mighty Snowy 2.0 team! Reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for the assurance of the programme within a Sub Project. This role requires a subject matter expert bridging the Integrated program to Onsite planning. You will provide support onsite, feeding down the master programme to the sub project and bringing back actuals and insights to the master programme and Project Controls.
This role supports onsite delivery and the programme as a whole by identifying and rectifying gaps in the planning and scheduling for the project. This role is based onsite at Lobs Hole or Tantangara on a FIFO/DIDO roster of 14 days on, 7 days off.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Working within the established governance requirements whilst assisting in developing and implementing best practice.
Working within the Integrated Planning Team, the onsite Project Management team and Contractor to verify and validate all data.
Analyse data from primary Programme, Primavera P6 and other platforms in HSE and Quality pillars.
Working with the Project Controls team to correlate time, costs, and value reporting.
Verifying the short-term lookahead plans at L5 and L6 detail.
Briefing the Project Managers on alignment or divergence from the Project baseline programme.
Ensuring the plans are resourced to assure confidence in delivery.
Delivering sufficient analysis and presenting reporting to Sub Project Project Managers and Senior Planners in line with the Project reporting cycle.
We're looking for someone with:
Minimum of 10 years of proven experience within the planning and scheduling function in a large scale construction project.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in a hydro project would be highly advantageous.
Solid communications, oratory and report writing skills.
Strong Office Suite skills, industry planning and reporting platform experience e.g. Oracle Suite or Deltek, BIM software's.
Good interpersonal skills working with cross functional teams.
